FEE Global Teacher Award for Aziezah Essop
Aziezah Essop of St Andrew’s School for Girls in Bedfordview, Johannesburg, was recently honoured with the prestigious Foundation of Environmental Education Global Teacher Award. She was the only South African among 17 global winners.
Environmental Science student finds her path
It all began with a Climate Change protest in October 2019. Siziwe Hlongwa, a student at the University of KwaZulu-Natal studying Environmental Sciences, found herself drawn to a workshop in Durban, eager to make a difference.
