WESSA Eskom E&S Programme shines at the 2014 eta awards
The 2014 Eskom eta awards were presented at a ceremony in Johannesburg on 28 November.
The WESSA Eskom E&S (Energy & Sustainability) Programme has won the eta award in the Young Designers category since 2003. With the programme work having expanded to include support of communities in recent years we have also won in the eta awards Community Category.
The 2014 eta Young Designers Award went to James Garisch, Laenita Laubscher and the children and staff from Tonga View Primary School for their project which is supported by WESSA's Eskom E&S coordinator in Mpumalanga, Louise Williamson. The 2014 eta Community Award was a joint award this year and went to two projects supported by WESSA Eskom E&S coordinators, Louise Williamson (Mpumalanga) and Susan Donald (Western Cape): Tonga View Primary School and TSiBA Education NPC.
WESSA thanks Eskom for providing the eta award platform where we can showcase our work. We are also grateful for the successful project partnership we enjoy with them.
